Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Dawlish

Sea Breeze. Takeaway/Licensed Restaurant/Café Bar.

19 Piermont Pl, Dawlish EX7 9PH, UK – 01626 888578

Its Changed Its Name.(From Bailey's). One of my local fish and chip shops, This is one of the only Two Restaurant's you can sit down to eat. (The other is in Queen Street)(Chip's AHoy) I find the Fish to be crisp but other's have found it not to be. (There free WIFI BUT ASK FOR PASSWORD) Here today 8th November 2017

Used the takeaway part of this restaurant a couple of times in July 17 and the fish and chips where very good, don't get me wrong, good, but I know better but we were staying in Dawlish Warren and with the lack of anything there despite the odd high reviews for Chippy Chaps this Chippy is well worth the 10 minute car ride to get a decent piece of fish and reasonable chips.

Hoi Shing

Enjoyed a lovely takeaway tonight, we visited the other year during peak season but ever since living down here in Dawlish, we've enjoyed two wonderful experiences! It's clean, tasty and not greasy with exceptional beef and prawns. They were done to perfection and tender, with very tasty black bean sauce. I don't recall what crispy chicken we ordered but it was to die for. With noodles, it made for a very wholesome, varied meal and the owners courteous and most welcoming. I definitely like and recommend!

Good food and friendly service! Open till late so great when most other local restaurants are closed.

Mount Pleasant Inn

Mount Pleasant Rd, Dawlish EX7 0NA, UK – 01626 863151

Only 10 minutes from lady's mile holiday park, stopped in for a pint on way back from beach (bit of a steepish hill for 100 metres) so was quite thirsty. Pint and a 50 pence game of pool and was ready to get back and relax in our lodge. Friendly and polite staff. Great views.

A very nice dog friendly pub with great views of the sea. Food is good with a reasonable range of beers. Service is quick and friendly. The car park is somewhat cramped with limited space. My only criticism is that priced have crept up every year and some of the dishes are getting a little on the expensive side when compared to other pubs in the area.
